CHAPTER: 2 -
And ATA (l’Atelier-Théâtr’Actions – Workshop/Theatre/Action Group) goes to war against Aids

This campaign will lead the group to various towns and villages to inform and communicate with young people in or out of school on the symptoms of this illness and the necessary behavioral changes required to fight against it.  A series of workshops will be held and filmed on video.  The tour will last 3 weeks and will end on November 1, 2004.

Before traveling over 550 km west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the group organized an International Site for African Dance and Percussion which was attended by 12 Italians from the Bantu Band and organized a reading contest with the Belgian NGO « RC Justice et Democratie » which awarded 30 youngsters in the N’djili area.

To find out more about the group during its tour, the workshops planned with the villagers and the resulting videos, go to the website www.cooperation.net/prince or email prince@cooperation.net .
